CREUS has worked on mixed use projects in a number of instances in positions from a strictly civil perspective to Development Managers and Prime Consultants. We are experienced in working with other professionals in managing and tracking these projects and addressing the varying needs of the end users.

The Pier, North Vancouver, BC
Client: Pinnacle International

Description: A 6-acre, mixed use hotel, residential, commercial, public open-space waterfront development on the former Versatile Shipyards lands at the foot of Lonsdale in North Vancouver. This project has involved residential, hotel, retail, institutional and a large amount of public amenity. CREUS has coordinated with various engineers, architects, environmental consultants, traffic management consultants, public art consultants and various city departments in coordinating the design, tendering and construction of this project to date.

CREUS Member Roles: The Engineer of record for all the preliminary and detailed Civil Engineering, sediment and erosion control and Stormwater Management elements of the project. CREUS members managed the tendering and construction of the works and provided inspection for all ongoing and completed civil works.
The Local, North Vancouver, BC
Client: Anthem Properties

Description: A 3 acre mixed use development in the central Lonsdale area with residential towers and a large retail development which includes a grocery store. The development fronts Lonsdale at the current site of the Extra Foods store and parking lot. This development also boasts a one acre green roof.

CREUS Member Roles: CREUS members are responsible for civil servicing requirements, offsite roadworks, upgrades including rerouting and reconstruction of the existing lane, site grading, and Stormwater Management of works on the site.
Marine Drive, 850 Marine Dr North Vancouver, BC
Client: Mr. Fred Momen

Description: A 27 unit mixed-use development on Marine Drive including new sidewalks and reconstruction of the Marine Drive & 15th St intersection. Includes offsite rain gardens incorporated into the new sidewalk environment.

CREUS Member Roles: CREUS members are responsible for civil site servicing, offsite roadwork upgrades, site grading, Stormwater Management, and coordination with BC Hydro.
Marine Drive, 1160 Marine Dr North Vancouver, BC
Client: Qualex-Landmark Developments

Description: A 1.8 acre mixed use development on Marine Drive including redevelopment of the existing bank plus construction of ground level retail and above ground residential units. Also includes upgrades to the existing Marine Drive and Lloyd Avenue sidewalks.

CREUS Member Roles: CREUS members were responsible for civil servicing, offsite roadworks upgrades including reconstruction of Marine Drive and Lloyd Avenue frontages, site grading, Stormwater Management, coordination with BC Hydro for offsite improvements, and coordination with electrical for the intersection signal improvements.
Quest University, Squamish, BC
Client: Sea to Sky University Foundation

Description: A 240-acre, mixed use development with a full service university, resident housing, market housing, sports field, wetlands, creek crossings and significant off-site works. This project has involved the design, approvals, construction and inspection of several kilometers of road, the grading and servicing of the core university buildings, grading for resident housing buildings, integration of geothermal heat system and upgrading the existing water system. CREUS has coordinated with various engineers, architects, environmental consultants, traffic management consultants, public art consultants and various city departments in coordinating the design, tendering and construction of this project to date. CREUS manages and coordinates the base plan for this project with the other professionals.
